Apple may go back to the iPhone 12 design for iPhone 16

The iPhone 16 prototypes, codenamed DeLorean, have undergone design changes including button and camera layout improvements. The camera module will have a vertical arrangement with two possible designs: iPhone 12-style with two lenses stacked vertically or iPhone X-type with a singular pill-shaped enclosure. The prototypes come in yellow, pink, and midnight colors, with the midnight design being the expected choice. The prototypes feature an Action Button, mechanical volume buttons, and a new Capture button with force sensor functionality. The front of the iPhone 16 retains the Dynamic Island and a USB-C port at the bottom. Early designs are subject to change.
