How to tell if a photo is AI-generated or real? There may be solution soon

Seven leading AI companies in the United States, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Inflection and Meta, have committed to developing mechanisms to differentiate between AI-generated and real content. The companies met with President Joe Biden, announcing their commitment to develop technical mechanisms to detect AI-generated content such as the incorporation of a watermarking system.
